DAILY DOSE: "On Monday, I am waiting..."

Happy Monday, friends.

Yeah, I know. Mondays suck. But never fear! The Dose is here! I'll be back in a little while with YOUR Monday Hangover, in the meantime, today's Dose is an ALL ASHLEE SIMPSON Edition! First up, is the Song of the Day: "Pieces of Me." This song is SO BAD that Kup and I love it, and can't turn it off of the radio. If you want to know more about my feelings about Ashlee, head on over to the archive links, and look for my I AM THE LAW! concerning this magnificiently strange and talentless young lady. That being said, I can't help but sing along to this dreadful song. It's not the first time I've been guilty of finding hilarity in the misfortune of others, but it's one of the only times I've been able to do it singing!

Speaking of finding hilarity in the misfortune of others, I bring you the Link of the Day: Ashlee Simpson on SNL. Apparently, poor Ashlee experienced some technical difficulties on her second song the other night, which was finely brought to my attention by Jeanette. She went out to sing her second song, however, the techs in the booth cued up the wrong Lip-Synch track! To make matters worse, her band started playing along to the wrong song! Oh, the Humanity! Ashlee, showing herself to be a performance veteran worthy of a spot on SNL stepped up and went with the flow, knocking the performance out of the park! Or not. Instead, she does a STUPID Irish Gig, gets embarrassed, and sneaks off stage. The best part is probably when SNL gives up and cuts to the most ridiculous picture of Jude Law, ever. It's as though he was smoking in the back during the performance, and they took a live picture of him as they suddenly had to go to commercial. Funny stuff. To top it all off, I heard that she BLAMED HER BAND for playing the wrong song at the end of the show, proving herself to be a self-centered, spoiled little harpy.

And for you Ashlee fans out there (both of you) you can direct your anger towards Jeanette, whose negative vibes permeated the stratosphere, made thier way to New York, and single-handedly attempted to ruin a young girl's career. Props for negativity!

Okay, kids, I'll be back soon.
Lunch is in the oven.
