I just received Megan's bio, and will post 'er up tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm bored with Wills and Family Law, so I've decided to take a quick break before the A-S Game, and actually play my own game.

I shit. you not. Did anyone out there see that? MONSTROUS hit. I've never seen anything like that. Ever.

It's been my AOL Screename since 1996. I've signed all my pictures with an 'atom' since the seventh grade, which is a long, geeky story in and of itself. And if you don't know why the 13's there-- you don't know me. apk is obviously my initials. woot.
3) any other nicknames we should know about/ make fun of you for?
This could take a while... Knipper, Knips, Knabe, Knaber, Knobber, Knoreaga, the SunDance Kid, Cheeseburger, Burger, Max, Fetal, Adamition ("the odd addition" -- perhaps my all-time favourite)..and probably many, many, more.

1) favourite blog moment
any time someone offers to guest-blog, and I get to be in awe of how well my friends write. Also, probably the short lived, but wildly fantastic Rules of Being a Guy debate, as well as that time that I layeth the smacketh down on KLE's take on my Ovid quote.
2) favourite blog post-category (Link of the Day, I Am the Law!, Bows and Toes, etc.)
I like to write "I AM THE LAW!" probably the most-- but they take an AWFUL lot of time..
3) why do you keep coming back?
I love the friendships that have come from this. My CLOSEST friends don't read this at all (ie: Kup, Nic, etc..) but I don't care, because I'm probably closer to Banner, Staubbie, et al, than I ever was before. And it's how I stay in touch with Marc. Plus, I've MADE friends from this thing-- Lauren, KLE, etc.. That's why I'll keep writing. Also-- it keeps me sane- outlets for my melodrama are CRITICAL.

1) If you could be any superhero, who would you be, and why?
Before he was killed off (he'll be back, though), Hawkeye, from the Avengers. He's in super-great shape, has a cool costume, cool abilities, has been trained by CAp, is an international celebrity, lives in Avengers mansion, gets mad play, is a swell, heroic, everyman character, and doesn't have the baggage of other guys (Batman = dead parents, Spidey, X-Men = everyone hates you). After that, maybe a Green Lantern...
2) If you could have dinner with any three people ever, who would it be, and why?
Jack Kirby, just to talk to the father of comic book art, and pick the brain of a creative genius...Andy Van Slyke, for no other reason than he's my all time favourite athlete/celebrity, and Leonardo DaVinci, because he did it ALL, and did it all super-well.
3) If you could eliminate any one athlete from the history of the world, who would it be, and why?
You all think it'll be Brady, or Ray Ray Lewis, or Johnny Damon, right-- well, it's one of three guys, and I'd have to REALLY think about it to come to a conclusion, but here goes:
Mark Lemke- he OWNED the Pirates in both of those LCS's...frakkin' MARK LEMKE.
Francisco Cabrera. I mean...really. He ruined my childhood.
or DID he-- now that I'm older/wiser, I think I gotta go with Smoltz, because of how he pitched the hell out of the Bucs that year..
perhaps the best way to answer this is: "i'd eliminate whatever ONE person that would give the 90-92 Pirates the best chance of winning the World Series."
