What can I say..other than this is just Bill being Bill

I wish those of you who don't know Bill, could, because you'd find this pretty funny. Bill's been one of my great friends since the second grade, when I transferred out of parochial school and into the Yough wilderness. We often joke that Bill is so "Bill," that if our friendship with him wasn't going on 20 years, we'd never speak to him. But that's not true...so much. He's one of the most fiercely loyal friends I have, and is the Original Big Dumb Animal. In many regards, he's the Yough Buff, for you D-sonians out there.

The funniest thing: Aunt PK has a crush on him, and says he looks like Kevin Smith. I wish I could make this stuff up.

Most importantly, though he's a MASSIVE Cubs (and Ryne Sandberg) fan, his birthday is MACKOWIAK DAY! and I can give him hell for that for the rest of forever. Sometimes life is swell.

1) movie The girl next door, empire records, saw I too have a strange addiction to Empire Records, but not quite in THIS high of esteem. Girl Next Door I don't get, to be honest.I watched it just last night, and though Elisha Cuthbert is a VERY special girl, I think I laughed about six times, tops...One thing is certain: Will and I will NEVER agree on movies-- quick story: He once got in a massive debate with Drew and I about how "Braveheart" was no good. After about twenty minutes, he admitted that he had never actually SEEN it, but he KNEW Gibson was only good in comedys like "Maverick," and there's NO WAY (in fact- he issued a Cosalter Guarantee) it could be good. This is the same kid who viamently rejected all things Star Wars for 25 years, then finally WATCHED the Original Trilogy, and called me to tell me how much he loved them, and how sorry he is he didn't watch them sooner.
